Ruby Walsh has landed the top ride on Marlborough in tomorrow’s Aon Chase at Newbury. The Irish jockey will also ride another Sir Robert Ogden-owned horse, Fadalko, in the Attheraces.co.uk Game Spirit Chase.
“Ruby has been booked to ride Marlborough for us as Mick Fitzgerald has opted to partner Bacchanal in the Aon Chase. But the booking of Ruby on this occasion in no way jeopardises Mick’s chance of riding Marlborough in the Cheltenham Gold Cup next month should he choose to do so,” said Ogden’s racing manager Barry Simpson.
