Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite Looks Like Trouble is still on track to go straight to the Festival according to trainer Noel Chance. The 10-year-old is still in the field for Sunday's Grade One Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown but Chance insists that his charge is unlikely to travel to Ireland for the €92,900 event.
"The reason I put him in was that if it was postponed or anything, it would just have given me another opportunity if things were not going that well with him. But at the moment he goes straight to the Gold Cup," Chance said.
Chance is pleased with the way Looks Like Trouble's preparations for the Festival are progressing and he has been impressing in his work. "He worked very nicely yesterday and he's come back unscathed, which is a bonus, and now it's just fingers crossed."
