Florida Pearl looking for more Hennessy glory

Florida Pearl will be among the field for the €92,900 Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday. The Willie Mullins-trained 10-year-old has won the event for the past three years and showed he is still in fine form when he won the Pertemps King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.

Florida Pearl’s stable companion Alexander Banquet will also feature in the line-up, as will the Ted Walsh-trained pair of Rince Ri and Commanche Court. The field is completed by Sackville, Lyreen Wonder and British-trained horses Looks Like Trouble and Beharajan.
