Ar Muin Na Muice, winner of a Leopardstown bumper on her racecourse debut last month, has joined Jonjo O'Neill's Jackdaws Castle team for an undisclosed sum. The mare, trained and ridden by Caroline Hutchinson when successful in the End of Year INH Flat Race, will race in the colours of a new owner to O'Neill's yard.
O'Neill could yet hand Ar Muin Na Muice a Cheltenham run, but will assess her form before confirming her place at the March showpiece. O'Neill said: "She was pretty impressive when winning her bumper at Leopardstown and is obviously highly-regarded. We have no specific aim with her at present as it's very much early days and a case of how she acclimatises as to where we may go with her. However, you would not have to be a genius to think about the Cheltenham Festival Champion Bumper as part of the plan."
Ar Muin Na Muice is currently quoted at 16-1 by Coral for the Cheltenham race.
