Florida Pearl tops Down Royal entry

Inaugural winner Florida Pearl topped 18 entries unveiled today for the third running of the James Nicholson Ulster Champion Chase. The Willie Mullins-trained nine-year-old won the Down Royal contest in 1999 but was a well-beaten fourth behind Looks Like Trouble last year.

Doran's Pride, runner-up each time, is entered again for the November 10 contest, along with Gold Cup second favourite Sackville. Irish Grand National winner David's Lad and Munster National victor Foxchapel King are also in the three-mile event.

British entries are headed by Ferdy Murphy's trio Hindiana, Paddy's Return and Streamstown, while Philip Hobbs has put in What's Up Boys and Henry Daly Young Spartacus.
