Aidan O'Brien's unbeaten Johannesburg heads a field of eight runners declared today for Thursday's Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket. Johannesburg has five wins to his name so far this season and most recently landed the Prix Morny Casinos Barriere at Deauville by one and a half lengths from the Robert Collet-trained Zipping.
Collet's colt reopposes on the Rowley Mile and the French trainer is reportedly happy with his preparation for the Group One event over six furlongs. O'Brien also saddles likely pacemaker Line Rider, while David Loder will also be double-handed as he leads the home defence.
