Champion Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien has left six fillies among today's 25 acceptors for Sunday's Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh. The consistent Sophisticat and the highly-promising maiden Quarter Moon would appear the principal contenders for O'Brien in the seven-furlong event, for which there could be a strong English-based challenge.
Newmarket trainer David Loder has indicated Seba, his unbeaten Chesham Stakes winner, is an intended runner and he has also left in Indy Rose. Mick Channon is responsible for Princess Miletrian, while Barry Hills has indicated he will saddle Newmarket maiden winner Bright And Clear in a race won last year by O'Brien's Sequoyah. Miss Beabea, runner up to the undefeated Johannesburg in the Independent Phoenix States at Leopardstown, will represent local trainer Kevin Prendergast, who has again booked English-based Irish jockey Willie Supple for the mount.
The sponsors could recoup their outlay with their own runner, Dressed to Thrill, a daughter of Danehill, who won the Listed Tyros Stakes at the Curragh last time out for another local trainer, Dermot Weld. (PA)
