The Aidan O'Brien trained Mediterranean has landed Europe's richest handicap, the £185,000 Tote Ebor at York to give the Ballydoyle team another big-race victory. Trainer Aidan O'Brien and jockey Michael Kinane have already plundered major prizes in Britain this season with the likes of Galileo, Imagine and Black Minnaloushe.
And this time it was the turn of one of stable's lesser lights as Kinane brought home Mediterranean at 16-1.
