Title-race leader Kieren Fallon completed his 100 for the Flat turf season with a short-priced double on Al Muallim and Indian Blaze at Kempton tonight. The three-times champion has shown that he is back to his best after suffered a serious shoulder injury in a fall at Royal Ascot in 2000 that kept him out of action for six months and threatened his career.
After drawing a blank at Glorious Goodwood this afternoon, he took the last races at Kempton. He landed the Irish Post Claiming Stakes on 8-13 favourite for David Nicholls by a neck from Aintnecessarilyso. And brought up the brace on 6-4 shot Indian Blaze with a three-quarter length success from Madame Jones in the London Irish Rugby Football Club Handicap.
