Galileo and Fantastic Light have both been confirmed for the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes. They are among 18 horses left in the £750,000 Ascot contest. Aidan O'Brien has kept Bonnard, Ice Dancer and Pebble Island in the mile-and-a-half event along with double Derby winner Galileo.
Prince of Wales's Stakes winner Fantastic Light is the top Godolphin horse, along with Broche, Give The Slip and Mutafaweq. John Dunlop confirmed both Golden Snake and Millenary, while Michael Jarvis has left Holding Court in as well as Morshdi. France could be represented by French Derby winner Anabaa Blue and Prince Of Wales's Stakes third Hightori.
Michael Kinane's appeal against his suspension that threatens to rule him out of the ride on Galileo is due to be heard later in the week. Johnny Murtagh is the rider most likely to stand in for Kinane.
