O'Brien adds top names to Leopardstown bill

Aidan O'Brien has added an eleven-strong contingent at the second entry stage to the Ireland The Food Island Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown, at a combined cost of £242,000. Joining the dual-Derby winner Galileo in the O'Brien entry are his other Classic winners this season, Black Minnaloushe (Irish 2000 Guineas) and Imagine (Irish 1000 Guineas and Vodafone Oaks).

The September 8th contest is the $1million Irish leg of the Emirates World Series and the Ballydoyle trainer will be anxious to retain the title he won with Giant's Causeway last year.
