Ruby Walsh, who was kicked on the back in a fall at Ayr on Saturday, has given up his rides at Listowel today. The Irish jockey came off Enrique in the Doubleprint Novices' Handicap Chase and was stood down for the rest of the afternoon.
His father, Ted, said: “Ruby is fine. He rode out for me this morning but he's a little bit sore and I've advised him to take a day or two off.”
The jockey is due to partner Commanche Court for his father in the Powers Gold Label Tote Gold Cup at Fairyhouse on Wednesday.
