Racing: Bobbyjo arrives at Aintree

Bobbyjo arrived at Aintree for Saturday's Grand National this afternoon after a seven-hour journey from his County Meath base. Trainer Tommy Carberry's wife Pamela said everything on the journey went fine. "We left at a quarter to nine this morning and arrived just after four o'clock. Bobbyjo never kicked up or sweated and seems to have taken the journey well. He is good form."

French challenger Djeddah has also arrived at Haydock racecourse where he will spend the next 48 hours with Norwegian raider Trinitro. Norway is bidding to win the world's greatest steeplechase for the first time with Trinitro, a horse owned by an adviser to the Norwegian Beekeepers Association.

Norman Williamson will ride Mely Moss in the Grand National at Aintree on Saturday. Williamson has opted for the Charlie Egerton-trained gelding after his original mount in the race, Betty's Boy, was put down on Saturday.
