Mikey Stafford is joined by David Rieder of Swimming World Magazine, who was in the La Defense Arena to witness Bobby Finke's world record breaking performance to deny Daniel Wiffen in the 1500m freestyle final.
The American swam the race of his life to break Sun Yang's 12-year-old record as Gregorio Paltrinieri of Italy took silver ahead of Wiffen.

David also gives us a sense of what American swimming has made of Wiffen at these Games, and we hear from the man himself, Daniel Wiffen, as he awaited his margherita pizza in the RTÉ studios in Paris.
