The Games are almost upon us, with Paris 2024 kicking off tomorrow (two days before the opening Ceremony), and Ireland in rugby sevens action against South Africa and Japan.

It is already a record-breaking Team Ireland however, with a 133-strong contingent headng for Paris, the biggest ever.

One hundred years ago, for the first Modern Games, Ireland sent 48 to Paris, and many of this year's crew are heading more in expectation than hope of medals.

But where do they hail from? What bragging rights are you entitled to in your county? Here is the breakdown (including home counties of ancestors for those born outside Ireland)...
