Derek Burnett has qualified for the London 2012 Olympics after the Irish Clay Pigeon Shooting Association received a quota place in the Olympic Trap event.
Burnett took a bronze medal at the 2010 ESC European Championships in Kazan, Russia and qualifies as a result of this.
The Longford man has taken part in the last three Olympics.
