Denis Lynch's horse 'Lantinus' successfully passed the obligatory
veterinary examination at Sha Tin in Hong Kong early Wednesday morning and so is cleared to take part in the Olympic Individual showjumping final on Thursday.
The combination have a good chance of landing an Olympic Showjumping medal, though it's unlikely to be gold.
The pairing having comfortably come through the qualifying rounds earlier this week, but it is thought a gold medal could be just beyond Lynch’s reach.
Germany's Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum is the clear favourite for the gold medal.
