A goal from Gergely Kiss sealed victory for defending Olympic and world champions Hungary in the Olympic men's water polo final today when they beat Serbia-Montenegro 8-7.
The defending champions had been trailing 5-7 going in to the final period, but a double from from all-rounder Tamas Kasas followed by Kiss's fourth goal of the tie with two minutes remaining assured them an eighth title.
They become become the first team to defend their Olympic title since Yugoslavia in 1984 and 1988.
Earlier four goals from Revaz Chomakhidze gave Russia the bronze medal when they beat hosts Greece 6-5,
