The club of shamed Olympic star Cathal Lombard, Leevale AC, issued a statement today.
The club, whose motto is 'Believe and you can achieve' has condemned the taking of any illegal or performance enhancing substances, claiming that it is at variance with the principles and ethos of their club.
It went on to say that the club "have always promoted and will continue to promote athletics maintaining the highest degree of integrity, as we have since our foundation."
