Team Ireland had to settle for 12th place in the dressage event at the Paralympic Games.

Michael Murphy and Cleverboy got things off to a good start on Saturday scoring 75.179 in the Grade 1 test. This was followed by Kate Kerr-Horan and Serafina T who scored 65.676 in Grade III.

Sunday saw Tamsin Addison and Fahrenheit score 66.232 in the Grade V team test to give Ireland an overall score of 207.176.

Gold went to Britain (229.905) ahead of The Netherlands (229.249) and USA (224.352).
