It's the opening day of the Paralympics in Tokyo as a 29-strong Team Ireland start to compete for medals.

The pick of the action on day one in Tokyo features swimming, cycling and table tennis qualification.

Watch coverage of day one from Tokyo on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player from 8.50am.

Highlights will also be broadcast from 7.30pm to 9pm on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
