Sean Baldwin falls short in 10m air rifle, but looks ahead to other events

Sean Baldwin, Ireland’s first ever Paralympics shooter, has failed to qualify for the final of the 10 metre air rifle standing competition.

Baldwin scored 553 out of 600 points from 60 shots, leaving him outside the first eight qualifying positions for the final.

However, 44-year-old Baldwin will compete in three more shooting competitions during the games - the 10m air rifle prone, 50m prone and 50 rifle 3 position shooting competitions.
