During a competitive career spanning 12 years, Eimear Breathnach has amassed an array of top-class titles. These include the 2003 Irish Open, the 2006 and 2008 Liverpool Opens and the 2011 US Open.
Breathnach previously competed in Beijing in 2008 coming third in her group in singles and reaching the quarter-finals in the team event.
Breathnach aims to play again on the world stage at London 2012, carrying in her form that won her the US Open in 2011 with an aim to improving on her results from Beijing.
