Padraic Moran has been playing boccia since he was eight. He initially competed as a BC1 athlete, but was recently reclassified into the BC2 category. He has previously competed in the Beijing Olympics and reached the quarter-final of the Individual event.
Moran's career highlight to date was winning BC1 gold at 2010′s CPISRA Boccia World Championships in Lisbon.
