2012 has been a very busy year for Heather Jameson as she strived to make the cut for the Paralympic team.
In April, Heather ran the A standard in the 100m when winning the Leinster Championship in Santry, and in doing so she broke a 24-year-old Irish record.
In May, Jameson shaved some more time off her own record in Gateshead, and one week later at the London Test Event she also reached the A standard for the 200m.
In Turin in May, Heather ran her fastest 100m yet (15.13), along with a personal best in her other events.
At just 15, she is set to make her Paralympic Games debut in London.
