New champions were crowned in both the men's and women's Irish Senior Water Polo Cup finals, which are considered the All-Ireland titles of the sport, in Bangor, Co Down this weekend.
North Dublin Water Polo Club won the men's cup to complete a league and cup double for the season.
It is only the third time in the club's 100-year history that North Dublin has lifted the trophy and they did so by beating Corrib Water Polo Club 15-7.
The Galway club had beaten North Dublin in the qualifiers earlier in the tournament, but victory over their fierce Dublin rivals St Vincent's in the semi-final, following wins over Drogheda and Sandycove, took them to the title.
There was some consolation for Galway fans as Tribes took the women's cup title.
The Galway women did so in style by dethroning St Vincent's, who had beaten them in last year's final, on a 7-4 scoreline.
