Premier League winner Petr Cech returns for second spell with Belfast Giants

Petr Cech has returned for a second stint with the Belfast Giants ice hockey team.

The four-time Premier League winner with Chelsea once again joins on netminding cover from National Ice Hockey League side Oxford City Stars having previously joined the Irish side last November.

Cech made one appearance in that previous spell, coming on in the 5-1 win over the Glasgow Clan.

"I'm happy to be coming back to Belfast to rejoin the Giants for the second time this season," Cech told the Giants website.

"I was really proud to make my professional debut for the club back in November 2023, and I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and making more memories this time around. It's always a pleasure to be a part of this organisation."
