Jenny Egan secured a bronze medal at the Canoe Sprint World Cup in Poland.
Competing in the K1 5000m event at the Poznan-hosted event, Egan narrowly missed out on a silver medal and settled for third spot and a place on the podium.
It was the tenth Canoe Sprint World Cup medal that Egan has won throughout her career.

Paul Donnellan also secured a canoeing bronze medal in the long course event at the Canoe Marathon World Cup in Prague, while Ben Higgins finished seventh, three places ahead of compatriot Finn Harris. Eabha Ni Drisceoil was seventh in the women's event.
Elsewhere, Liam Jegou and Jake Cochrane finished 16th and 19th respectively at the Canoe Slalom European Championships in Slovakia.
