Nhat Nguyen just missed out on a place in the quarter-finals of the Badminton World Championships in Spain after losing an epic three-set encounter with China's Zhao Jun Peng.
In a match that lasted 86 minutes, there was little between the two players throughout the enthralling contest with Zhao edging the first set 21-19.
Dubliner Nguyen struck back in the second set, taking it by the same scoreline, to set up a deciding set for a place in the last eight.
But it was the Chinese player who would progress in the end following a three-point, 21-18 victory in the final set as Nguyen exits the tournament following a very good showing in Huelva.
