Lenson Bocko took a brilliant Irish Greyhound Derby final right on the line on Saturday night, winning by a nose in a thrilling finish.

Mucky Brae broke well but it was Tom Quinn's Run Happy who seized the initiative after coming out of the first bend in good shape.

That sparked a terrific battle between Run Happy and Boylesports King, which made great progress from trap 6 as they headed for the home straight.

Ultimately it was the favourite Lenson Bocko who came good, Graham Holland's hugely impressive dog timing his late burst perfectly to sneak it from Boylesports King and Run Happy.
