Ireland's Aileen Reid finished has finished in sixth place at the World Triathlon Series meeting in Yokohama in a time of one hour 59 minutes and 22 seconds.
The race was won by American Gwen Jorgensen in a time of 1:57:20.
In the men's race victory went to Spain's Javier Gomez ahead of Britain's Alistair Brownlee.
Ireland's Bryan Keane placed 13th and Russell White was 50th.
