Ireland’s women have been beaten by France in the semi-finals of the European Squash Championships in Denmark.

Ireland will now play hosts Denmark in tomorrow’s bronze medal match after the French prevailed 2-0 in Herning.

Madeline Perry lost 3-1 in her match against French no.1 and world no.6 Camille Serme, while Aisling Blake was edged out 3-2 by Coline Aumard.

France will meet England in the final, and later today Ireland’s men play Denmark in their Division 2 semi-final.
