Madeline Perry into Irish Open semi-finals

Madeline Perry is through to the semi-finals of the Irish Squash Open after victory over American Olivia Blatchford at Fitzwilliam.

The top seed won 3-1, against an opponent who beat her in the quarter-finals last year, as she chases her sixth Irish Open title.

Perry, who will retire from the World Tour after this event, beat English qualifier Leonie Holt yesterday.
