Ireland have beaten hosts Belgium 3-2 at the European Mixed Team Championships.
Ireland raced into an unassailable 3-0 lead, Chloe Magee securing the victory for Ireland when she beats Lianne Tan 21-12, 21-17.
Before that, Scott Evans had beaten Yuhan Tan (Belgium) 21-13, 21-17, and Sam and Chloe Magee won their doubles match.
Although Belgium won the final two games, when first Matijs Dierickx and Freek Golinski beat Evan and Magee 14-21 21-17 15-21, before Steffi Annys and Flore Vandenhoucke saw off Sara Boyle and Rachael Darragh 13-21 12-21, Ireland will be happy overall with the win.
"We came here to beat Belgium and we did that so we are all very happy. Bigger challenge tomorrow but good chance we can make quarter finals now and that's very exciting for us to look forward to." said Magee.
