Ireland's Casey O'Gorman crashed out of the Moto3 Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas with three laps to go.
The Portlaoise native was the first Irish rider in the modern Moto3 era to secure a front-row start after a stunning performance in qualifying on Saturday in Austin, Texas.
O'Gorman was leading the second group when he came down, with Italian Guido Pini winning the race.
