Esapekka Lappi opened up a lead of 17.7 seconds in the Rally Turkey after a rain-affected afternoon in Marmaris.

Despite opting for hard tyres not suited to wet weather, the Finn came out on top on the second running of the 38km Cetibeli stage.

Citroen team-mate and world champion Sebastien Ogier is second overall, heading into Saturday 0.7 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville.

Northern Ireland's Kris Meeke lies in seventh place.
