Ireland’s Craig Breen has re-signed for the Peugeot Rally Academy team and will drive on both the European and World stage in 2015.
The Waterford driver will return to the European Rally Championship where he has finished third in both of the last two seasons, while Breen will also compete in seven rounds of the 2015 World Rally Championship in the WRC 2 Class behind the wheel of his Peugeot 208 T16.
“I’m delighted to be continuing with Peugeot Sport in 2015 when our priority will be the ERC title, ” said the 24-year old. “Last year wasn’t easy. We were down on luck and it was the 208 T16’s debut season but now all the ingredients are in place.
"The car combines speed and reliability and I know the team well, since this will be my third year as part of the official line-up.
"It’s going to be an exciting but busy year because my programme also includes, with Peugeot Sport support, seven WRC-2 outings in the 208 T16 with the same team.”
Breen's European campaign will start in January at the ERC opener in Austria, the Jännerrallye.
