It was confirmed this morning that Ireland will host a round of the World Rally Championship in 2007.
The announcement from Paris confirmed that a leg of the 2007/08 series will take place in Ireland over the weekend of 18, 19, 20 November 2007.
This follows the successful hosting of two pilot events in the Sligo, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Leitrim region over the last year.
It has not been confirmed where the event will take place.
