Stohl still on course for Rally of Catalunya

Austria's Manfred Stohl, third in the world championship, has been cleared to race in this weekend's Rally of Catalunya after a heavy crash in testing.

"We do hurt all over but we definitely want to compete in the rally," Stohl told the official WRC website after being released from hospital.

Stohl's Peugeot slammed into a rock face on Monday while testing for the fourth round of the championship which starts in Salou on Friday.

Stohl and co-driver Ilka Minor had complained of sore ribs and back pain but tests revealed no broken bones. The pair finished third in the last rally in Mexico and fourth in the Monte Carlo season-opener.
