Speed eyes Red Bull test

New team Red Bull could be ready to give a test drive to rising American star Scott Speed.

Speed is part of Red Bull's young driver programme and he is hopeful he can bridge the gap from the feeder series to Formula One.

After winning the German Formula Renault championship and the Eurocup this year Speed hopes to take the first rung on the ladder to an F1 career.

Speed said: "My plans have yet to be decided. But GP2 is looking like the biggest possibility. And, along with that, I am sure that I will be testing the Red Bull F1 car and getting ready for 2006. But I don't know anything for sure yet," he said.
