The deal between Eddie Jordan and Christian Horner to buy Jordan Grand Prix seems to have fallen through.

The stumbling block appears to be the valuation of the company, with Horner bidding under Jordan's asking price.

Horner is the owner of Arden Racing, who are the current Formula 3000 champions.

Jordan are now under pressure before the new season as they have no major sponsor and the new Toyota engines need to be paid for.

There are rumours of a takeover by a Chinese consortium, but it remains to be seen if they will meet Jordan's asking price.

Albers confirmed as a Minardi driver

Christijan Albers was today confirmed as a Minardi driver for the 2005 Formula One  season.

The Dutch driver had tested for both Minardi and Jordan recently.
