The legendary Senna name will return to British motorsport later this month.
Bruno Senna, nephew of the late three-time world champion Ayrton, will compete in two Formula BMW races at Brands Hatch, on the same bill as the Green Flag British Touring Car Championship.
Senna, 20, quit racing karts 10 years ago when his uncle was killed during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix at Imola but is now preparing to return to racing.
“I have never run on these tracks, so it won't be easy as the other drivers have tested or raced at two of them”, Senna said, “But I'm not worried about this. The important thing is to try and qualify in the top 10 places and then get used to racing the other drivers. “
The Brazilian will race for Carlin Motorsport and plans to continue with the team for the rest of the season, including rounds at Rockingham and Donington Park.
