The Jordan Formula One team have confirmed that their Italian driver Giorgio Pantano will not be competing in the Canadian Grand Prix tomorrow. His Absence is apparently due to financial problems. He will be replaced by the German driver Timo Glock.
Jordan say they hope Pantano will be in a position to resume his normal driving duties at the next round of the Formula One World Championship. The next race, the US Grand Prix, takes place in Indianapolis next week.
