Formula One team Sauber were given a boost today after extending their sponsorship agreement with one of their main backers, Credit Suisse. The deal made by the Swiss based team lasts until the end of 2004.
"For many years I had been trying in vain to find a big Swiss sponsor until the partnership with Credit Suisse came about," said team chief Peter Sauber of the agreement that began in 2001.
"Our co-operation with this renowned financial services company has been highly important for the development of our team during the past three years. We regard the continuation of the partnership as a sign of confidence, as well as a commitment to further improve our performance."
