Fisher set for F1 drive in America

Sarah Fisher will become the first woman in over a decade to drive a contemporary Formula One for McLaren later this month. Fisher will perform a demonstration next Friday at the Indianapolis track in American on the first day of practice for the United States Grand Prix.

The Indy Racing League drive said she was obviously excited about driving a Formula One Car. "It's extremely rare to get a chance like this and I can't wait. I'm grateful to TAG Heuer, Bernie Ecclestone and McLaren for making this happen. Hopefully it will heop to promote F1 in the USA and will also bring international attention to my series," said Fisher.
