Jordan Grand Prix say they will make an announcement tomorrow regarding Giancarlo Fisichella's participation in this weekend's German Grand Prix at Hockenheim. Fisichella missed last Sunday's race at Magny-Cours in France after a bad crash in practice and he is due to face a medical test with Formula One doctor Sid Watkins tomorrow to see if the Italian is fit to race.
If Fisichella recovers he will experience the team's new technical package for the first time, which sees an improved specification engine from Honda and recent developments on the EJ12. Speaking on the team's website, www.f1jordan.com, Fisichella was looking forward to the new look German track and revealed: "I'm very curious to experience the new circuit with its recent modifications and I'm very committed about this race. In Magny-Cours I realised that we have a good technical package with the new Honda engine specification, and I'm really looking forward to trying it out this week."
