Heinz-Harald Frentzen survived two frightening high-speed accidents while testing with his new team Arrows at Valencia today. The German was only unveiled as the team's number one driver yesterday but in his second day of action in the all-new Arrows-Cosworth he suffered two near identical rear wing failures at the Spanish circuit, both as he approached the high-speed first corner.
McLaren's David Coulthard was also lucky to escape unhurt from a high-speed smash in testing today. The Scot suffered a rear puncture at the end of the pit straight in Barcelona, plunging his car into a roll through the gravel trap. However, luckily for Coulthard the vehicle flipped all the way back on to its wheels and he emerged unscathed.
