Alain Prost has received several proposals for financial partnership as he bids to save his troubled Formula One team. A self-imposed deadline of January 15 - agreed with a Versailles court - passed with no major announcement as Prost Grand Prix look to secure their future, despite reported debts of £20million.
A Prost statement said: "Several proposals for financial partnership aiming at the continuation of Prost Grand Prix activity have been received from foreign investors and have been studied at many meetings involving the official receiver and the judge."
"These proposals are similar in their characteristics implying a direct or indirect shareholding participation in the Prost Grand Prix capital and immediate funding allowing the team to honour all of its commitments."
