Coulthard ready to challenge Schumacher

David Coulthard has vowed not to give an inch when he renews his on-track rivalry with Ferrari's Michael Schumacher in Australia in March. Coulthard has just returned to testing for McLaren but the Scot is already psyching himself up for Melbourne on March 3.

Coulthard is ready to go into battle with Schumacher with whom he shares responsibility for representing drivers on track safety issues. "That gets put to one side when we go out on the race track and neither of us wants to give an inch," Coulthard told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Coulthard, runner-up to Schumacher in the drivers' championship last season, refuses to let up until he has taken the German's title away. "When I win the championship will be the time when I say I am getting it right," said Coulthard.
