Jean Alesi drove the Jordan Honda EJ11 for the first time in a shakedown with the team in warm and dry conditions at Silverstone on Tuesday. Familiarising himself with the car in preparation ahead of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix, the shakedown was limited to 50 kilometres due to testing regulations, so Alesi completed just eighteen laps of the Silverstone circuit. The Frenchman said that the car felt very good to drive, and his new team-mates were easy to work with.
